Colorado Inline Hockey League Will Award "Two" For 2009

CHSIHL will award two (2) deserving athletes scholarships to be presented during the Hall of Fame and Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, April 11, 2009. The league will consider all senior applications from eligible student athletes in the 2009 High School Inline Hockey Season. Just follow the step by step instructions to submit your application for consideration.

Westlake Middle School Takes Gold

We've Got The "Chip"
With Mountain Ridge Middle School taking the gold last year, it was Westlake Middle School that felt it was their turn to take the Championship Cup home. Even with a two to one rally from Westlake B in the second half, the Westlake A team was just too tough to contain.

The night was packed with fun and excitement as Westlake A defeated Westlake B in one of the league's best final match ups.

  Acknowledgment For An Ultimate Effort
The 2008 High School League MVP honor goes to Smoky Hill High School forward, Rees Bernot. Rees led his team to the CHSIHL State Championship with a remarkable effort and dazzling athleticism.

Rees finished the regular season with an outstanding 54 points to win the Scholastic ALL STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE MVP Award.

  The Ultimate Middle School Courage
The 2008 Middle School League MVP honor goes to Walt Clark Middle School forward, Ryan French. Ryan contributed to his team with 25 goals and 13 assists, and ensured his team's placement into the Middle School Gold Division Championships.

Congratulations to Ryan French as this season's Scholastic ALL STATE MIDDLE SCHOOL LEAGUE MVP AWARD recipient.
